CD Slide Show

Our scans and Slide Shows can either be on a CD with the slide show in VCD2 format and playable in a DVD player and in a PC computer or on a DVD slide show disk. We DO NOT recommend this format unless you absolutely do not have a DVD player. We cannot get near as many images on this type of disk when we have a CD slide show too.

We want the highest possible quality for display on TV. Our CD slide show has the same visual quality as that on any DVD slide show because we use the VCD2 format.
Once scanned the now digitized images will be available from the disk so that a person can take the disk to a One Hour Photo or Walgreens and they can take the images off the disk and make prints. A person can also download the images to their computer and manipulate them or do whatever they want with them.
We want a slide show that is playable on a TV set through a DVD player. Both CD slide show and DVD slide show are playable on a compatible DVD player.
We want a slide show that is playable on PC computers. Our CD slide show plays on a PC computer where the DVD slide show does not unless you have a DVD player in your computer and it is set up to play DVD movies. If it does then you are fine with either of our disk formats.

Another benefit of having the slide show on the CD is that you can easily copy the disks on most any computer and then share the disks with family and friends. DVD copies would be more expensive and difficult to make if you don't have a DVD writer in your computer.

Make sure you check the option on our order form, so you get the disk format that you want: either DVD slide show, CD Slide Show or just plain Data Disk with just the images on the disk.
