The slides below are examples of what the older 110 slide looks like.

The 110 slide is the small one to the far left. Many people would buy the 2" x 2" adapters so that they could show the slides with their regular 35mm projectors. If your 110 slides are not already in 2 x 2 slide holders,  there is an extra charge since we have to handle each slide and we cannot automate the scanning process. We will scan this film so that your image is enlarged the same as a regular 35mm slide scan.

In the two 110 slide scans below, you can see that Walgreens does not zoom in on the smaller film and what it does scan is completely washed out and the highlights are blown away. In the Affordable Slide Scanning scan, to the left, you can see the final result is going to be a full sized scan, zoomed in so that you will get the same final resolution as a 35mm slide. The colors on each scan are also enhanced by our Photoshop artists. Click on the images for more examples.

The original film for the camera is housed in a plastic cartridge and the whole cartridge is turned in for developing. It was not necessary to remove the film from the cartridge.

The Image size for 110 film is fixed at 13mm X 17mm. In inches that would be close to 1/2" X 11/16" inches.

The 110 negatives commonly come on a roll such as below. 110 negatives cost $2 each to scan because of the unwieldiness of the film.

Although some manufacturers made sophisticated and expensive cameras for this size film, the majority of the cameras were inexpensive and cheaply made.  The 110 film became associated with poor picture quality.
